Sangre de Cristo Mountain Works

Thanks to our rep Steve Hyde, I was able to test out the 1110 New Balance Trail/Off Road shoe last weekend. I went up the local mountain, Atalaya. The trail is a mix of sand, dirt, rock and scree. I noticed that the Rock Stop feature worked well on those sharp rocks that get under the ball of your foot. Back in the day I used to run up Atalaya in my New Balance 801′s. What a difference the Rock Stop makes. The other feature that is great is the Sure Lace system. I am amazed that the laces actually stay tied. This is a comfortable trail runner and waterproof as well. I can’t wait to do some fastpacking this summer in this shoe! Available in Women’s New Balance 1110 too!
