The tiny Ion Headlamp from Black Diamond is a perfect weight and functions well in almost all conditions. A great emergency light just to have even if you aren’t in the woods. Dog walkers keep it in your pocket in case the sun goes down while you are out. Fastpackers and Go Lite enthusiasts will agree that its all you need.
I used one this weekend and decided to throw my old ones out. They used to be the state of the art headlamps. but technology changes. Sell em on ebay and buy new ones- its worth it really. If you want some more features and light try the Cosmo or the sexy Moxie. Still affordable and simple.
